Average price for three courses is 30 € per person plus wine. Lunch of two courses is 16 € per person, including wine. A charming restaurant in the heart of the St. Germaine des Pres district, near Saint-Sulpice.
ó Le Beaujolais d'Auteuil, 99, Boulevard de Montmorency, 75016 Paris at Porte d'Auteuil. Téléphone: 01 47 43 03 56. Opening times: 12h00 -15h00 and 19h30-22h00. French cuisine. Three course meal including wine is 23€ per person. Local crowd in our neighborhood. A bistro with good food and fair prices.
ó Le Meurice. Hotel Meurice, 228, rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris. Téléphone 01 44 58 10 55. If you want to treat yourself to a very special lunch, this is a Michelin two-star restaurant with decor inspired by the "Grands Appartements" of the Château of Versailles. Cost of 3-course meal at lunchtime, 60€, tax & service included, but not wine. Unfortunately, dinners are much more expensive. Closed Sat. noon and Sunday.
F I love the Impressionist collection at the Musée d'Orsay. My favorite artist in Renoir.
ó The Musée Marmottan, 2, rue Louis-Boilly, 75116 Paris. The world's largest collection of Monet's works is housed in this 19th century mansion.
ó If you go the Louvre, make sure you visit the newly restored Galerie d'Appollon.
ó I love the hot chocolate «L'Africain» served with whipped cream at the elegant tea salon, Angelina, 226, rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris. 6.20 €.
ó I enjoy bringing guests to the Sainte-Chapelle on the Isle de la Cité close to Notre Dame. It is a Gothic marvel and is renowned for its stained glass windows. The Sainte Chapelle was ordered built in 1245 by Saint Louis, King of France, to serve as reliquary for the Crown of Thorns, a nail of the Passion and a piece of the True Cross that he had purchased from Baudoin, a French nobleman and Emperor of Constantinople, who was in need of money.

My restaurant recommendations are not «cher» and are fun to go to anytime with friends. I also love to have something to eat or drink in the museums and department stores.The walking tours in Paris are fun, especially «Les passages de Paris.» I love the Luxembourg Gardens. In the summer, the Medici garden is very cool and quiet.
I could spend my time in any museum. I love looking at all the beautiful art.

I enjoy the outdoor market on the rue Mouffetard that is open every day except Mondays. There is dancing to all the good ole' French songs on Saturday and Sunday mornings on the Place Medard at the bottom of the "Mouff". Enjoy the outdoor cafés across from the Church St. Medard.My dream is to own a house in the south of France with a big, airy studio where I could express my loftiest ideas on canvas.

F I would like to share with you the Côte D’Azur.
ó Take the TGV to Cannes or fly into Nice. Stay at the Hotel Splendid. Téléphone: 04 97 06 22 22/ e-mail: accueil@splendid-hotel-cannes.fr. From the Cannes train station it is an easy walk to the Hotel.
From Nice airport take the Cannes direct autobus (every 30 min) to Cannes. It is an easy walk to Hotel Splendid. Get maps and train schedules at the railroad station and tourist information at Palais de Festival in Cannes. The Hotel Splendid is located in the heart of Cannes beside the bustling fishing port.
ó Whatever month you are there, you will fall in love with the climate, the light, the firework displays, golf courses, regattas, sporting and cultural events and of course the golden sand beaches. Take a stroll along the Croisette through the narrow streets of the old town Le Suquet. Enjoy the shopping street Rue d’Antibes, and the Marche Forville.
ó Take a boat trip to the Isles De Lérins, Sainte Marguerite, and St. Honorat.
ó Take the bus or train to Mandelieu La Napoule to visit the 14th century castle by the sea. Take the train to Nice for the day and visit Old Nice. Walk the Promenade Des Anglais and visit the Matisse Museum. Take the bus or train from Cannes to St. Raphael, enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Corniche d’Esterel. Visit St. Raphael. Have lunch at the harbor, St. Lucia. Take the train or the bus back to Cannes.
ó Take the train to Beaulieu-sur-Mer and visit the most beautiful villa and garden, at Ephrussi de Rothschild. You will never forget this visit. For the hikers, take the train to Le Trayas. From the train station there are fabulous hikes to Pic l’Ours and others.
ó Finally for the shoppers, (Fridays only), take the train to Ventimiglia, Italy for one of the greatest flea markets in the region.

I love fashion and have a great time walking by shop windows on Avenue George V and Avenue Victor Hugo to see the trends. Then, go to the less expensive little shops.
